Annual Fund The Annual Fund provides unrestricted funds for the annual operating budget and is the school's first fundraising priority. Gifts to the Annual Fund go to support academic programs, faculty salaries and professional development, financial aid, technology upgrades, athletics, student activities, curriculum development and the upkeep of our campus.
Every gift, regardless of size, counts—and makes an immediate difference to the school and our students. Annual Fund gifts and pledges are solicited throughout the year, and all gifts must be paid by the end of June.

Financial Aid Fund Donations to the Financial Aid Fund are restricted funds that may only be used to offer financial aid to families who believe Mid-Peninsula High School is the best educational choice for their student and who cannot pay full tuition. Currently, Mid-Peninsula offers financial assistance to 34% of our families.

Endowment and Directed Funds Endowment funds are similar to savings accounts or other financial assets; they generate income through wise investment of the principal. Building a strong endowment, which is part of our long-term financial security, is an ongoing goal at Mid-Peninsula.
Currently, Mid-Peninsula High School holds endowed funds in The Carmen M. Christensen Scholarship Fund.
Each year some donors ask to direct additional and significant funds for such purposes as financial aid, faculty and staff development, special academic projects or the purchase of special equipment. If you have questions about directing your gift to a school priority, please contact the Development Office.
